Dubai once again became the global hub for storytellers, creators and innovators as the 8th edition of the Dubai International Content Market (DICM) 2025 unfolded. This year, Prayan Animation Studio proudly joined this vibrant gathering that united the international entertainment community for two inspiring days of conversation, collaboration and creativity. Representing our studio were Co-founders and leaders Mr. Remesh Ram (Managing Director), Mr. Vinayan (Chief Executive Officer) and Jijo Joseph (Marketing and Sales Executive), who brought with them the spirit of innovation and storytelling excellence that defines Prayan’s creative identity.
A Gathering of Global Visionaries
Stepping into DICM 2025, our team could immediately feel the pulse of a global creative marketplace. With over 900 participants from 55 countries, 94 exhibiting companies and 230 buyers from 41 nations, the atmosphere was charged with possibility. The event wasn’t just about showcasing content, it was a space where meaningful partnerships, new ideas and future collaborations took shape. As an animation studio that thrives on telling stories that move audiences, being part of such a global dialogue on content creation felt both inspiring and rewarding.
Networking and New Horizons
Over the two days, our team engaged in dynamic conversations with content creators, distributors and studio heads from across the world. Each discussion opened new perspectives on the evolving trends of global animation and media production. The exchange of ideas on co-production, IP development and transmedia storytelling expanded our vision of what’s next for animation in the MENA and global markets. The sessions led by Parrot Analytics, Fabric and Rise Studios offered valuable insights into audience behavior, content consumption trends and the growing power of data-driven storytelling, all of which resonate deeply with our own creative and strategic goals at Prayan.
Inspiring Innovation in Storytelling
From exclusive screenings to forward thinking sessions such as “Stories in Seconds: How Micro Drama is Redefining Storytelling” and “Inside the Mind of a Commissioner,” DICM 2025 showcased how storytelling continues to adapt in the digital era. These experiences encouraged us to explore how short form narratives and emotional storytelling can redefine how we connect with global audiences. The event reinforced our belief that creativity has no boundaries and that animation remains one of the most powerful tools to bridge cultures and emotions through visual art.
Key Takeaways and Future Pathways
For Prayan Animation, DICM 2025 was more than an exhibition. It was a platform for growth, inspiration and relationship building. We returned with renewed energy, fresh creative insights and valuable connections that will shape our upcoming projects. From exploring international co-production opportunities to understanding new content distribution models, the event provided immense learning that aligns perfectly with our mission to deliver world class animation and storytelling solutions.
Looking Ahead with Gratitude
