September 16: World Ozone Day 2021

Each year on September 16 is observed as World Ozone Day. This day is observed to aware about the people about current depletion of the ozone layer and to find the probable resolution to protect it. On this day seminars and talks are conducted among the international community from all over the globe.

From current research, scientists have discovered the common chemicals which affected the damage to the ozone layer. The ozone layer keeps us from protecting us from sunlight’s harmful UV rays, X-rays, and invisible rays. The first ozone depletion was discovered 30 years ago in May 1985.
